Groundbreaking ceremony. Monk and members of the Chiang Rai Living Community place offerings in the burrows, which are then shed to become the foundation of each Chiang Rai Living Community home.
Gold and silver are added according to tradition for luck, prosperity and blessings, as are flowers and fruit.
Pictures Concrete Works Chiang Rai Living I

The various concrete work on the 5 houses and on the groundwater well are photographed here over a period of 12 months.
Shuttering and reinforcement work, concreting of roofs, columns and floors. Everything was cast in-situ, no prefabricated slabs, foundations, floors, columns and ceilings, all made on site. Large-area concreting at night or early in the morning so that the concrete does not set too quickly.
Pictures Brickwork Chiang Rai Living I

The work on the masonry from October 2022 to December 2022 is shown.
The houses were provided with walls that have no load-bearing function, only to accommodate doors and windows and provide protection against the weather. All lines were laid in the masonry using empty pipes.
All unevenness was leveled out by the 3 cm thick plaster and smoothed off.
Pictures Interior Design Chiang Rai Living I
December 2022 until January 2023
Parallel to the exterior plastering work on some houses, the interior work was carried out, floors were laid, walls were plastered and painted (2x). Sockets were relocated, connections for air conditioning (2) and light switches and a possibility for mounting a lamp (concealed) on each ceiling. Bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, brackets, mirror and shelves) and kitchen (large work surface with base cabinets (brick and fully tiled), double sink and wash fittings) was made.

Alle Häuser haben eine überdachte (25 m²) Terrasse (22 m²) an der Front in Richtung Norden sowie einen Treppenaufgang zum Dach und dort eine 82 m² große Dachterrasse mit 68 m² Nutzfläche. Freier Rundumblick garantiert in 6 m Höhe.
Ende Januar 2023 wurde die erste Dachterrasse eingeweiht mit einer kleinen Feier mit allen Bauarbeitern vor Ort.

The houses were all built in parallel in different production stages. Depending on the work team, plastering and masonry work took place in parallel, as did work on the terraces on the ground, attaching the railings on the roof terrace and installing the stairs, windows and doors.
Since April 2023, all houses have received the exterior painting and are now waiting for the interior design.
Pitures Carports, Vegetable Patches, Fish Pond Chiang Rai Living I
January 2022 until January2023
4 carports were built in early 2022 and are also used to accommodate the construction team vehicles. In addition to the carports, there is a free kitchen outside and the 12 vegetable beds adjoining the employees' house. And a lot of fruits like Mango, Rambutan, Banana and also Cannabis on the property.
At the end of the property you can see the excavated fish pond, which still has to be designed and will contain fish from quarter III 2023.
Pictures Groundwater Well Chiang Rai Living I
May 2022 until November 2022
The community is supplied with its own spring water from a depth of 108 m. For this purpose, a groundwater well was drilled, a covered groundwater station with a pump (PV powered) was built and 2 water tanks, each 3 m² in size, were set up to supply up to 20 households at the same time.
The water is treated according to the state of the art (UV filter, germ-free) and cleaned by a filter station and fed into the water tanks.
Pictures Power Supply & PV-Plants Chiang Rai Living I

The main house, the guest rooms and the house of the employees as well as the groundwater well and each of the 5 houses have their own PV system, which is controlled individually, so each house is self-sufficient from the outside power.
A power line from the local power supplier is connected in parallel to your own PV power, so that there is always enough power available.
